Ever since the bubble burst in the early 2000s everyone is looking for economic indicators to tell them whether ornot our market is going to pop again. What is also important is an ability to gain the speed of the housing marketdecline. In 2007 our market crashed so fast no one was able to control it. If economist can predict the speed ofwhich we burst and recover it will help for better real estate investment decisions. The truth is no one really knows, all we can do is watch the market month by month and do our best to make the decisions that best suit the needsof our families. I personally think home prices are remaining artificially high in today’s market. I have two estimatesas to the cause.
1) The leftover sensation from the 2013-2014 housing frenzy where house prices were gaining appreciation monthly
2) The drop of interest rate has increased buyer purchasing powerHowever whenever the government increases the interest rates by just a quarter of a percent we see a significantdecrease in sales.
Economist John Krainer calls what we are going through correspond to the objective reality. Thediscrepancy between the prices that sellers set and the prices homes actually garner in the market is attributable towhat I call the devastating, due to a common set of irrational beliefs about market behavior. The most dramaticexample of market fallibility took place in 2008- in the great recession.

"Dustin Shepard is a true professional in his industry. Dustin helped us sell our condo over market value and helped us purchase our dream home because of his reputation and negotiation skills. More importantly, Dustin is someone you can trust to look out for the best interest of his clients while backing it up with years of experience and a wide breadth of knowledge. Selling and buying at the same time seemed so overwhelming for us but Dustin really made the mechanics of the transaction seamless. Dustin is also very tech savvy which was extremely helpful when marketing our condo for sale. I have only positive things to say about our experience and I would highly recommend Dustin as a realtor! Thank you again Dustin for everything."
